In the analysis the impact of programs conducted by the Association Editorial and Publishing Lumen Lumen in 2005-2007 (more information is available on site www.edituralumen.com) Editura Lumen decided progress in the period 15 November 2007 -20 March 2008 a program Editorial Special I publicly Editura Lumen. The program is an extension of the traditional publishing programs Lumen Publishing House - Program for the Promotion of Young Researchers Program, National Lumen literary debut.
The program will take place on the following sections:
I. Scientific research-areas included:
1. Humanities: social work, sociology, psychology, political science, legal science, theology, journalism, literature, communication sciences, history.
2. Economic Sciences;
3. Engineering sciences;
II. Book-school education, educational materials, ancillary curricular section dedicated teachers.
III. Creative and literary essay-inclusive areas:
- poetry,
- Roman
- dramaturgy
- other literary genres.
Selection will be held between November 15 .- 20 februarie2007 after the material is analyzed in order of arrival at the editorial staff. Will be accepted up to 15 publishing materials in each section. The works selected will be published in individual or collective volumes.
Authors who wish to participate in this selection are requested to submit the material proposed for publication to: edituralumen@gmail.com accompanied by information about the author (of the CV). A letter of recommendation to accompany the material can be an advantage. This letter of recommendation is binding only for subsections: engineering sciences and economic sciences.
For the research may be sent for publication of scientific papers that were presented or proposed doctoral thesis works at symposiums, reports supported in PhD studies, essays and original research themes, papers and disertation license with a pronounced scientific character, held at universities around the country and abroad, etc..
For the educational book may send proposals for ancillary curriculum, collections, tests, etc. monographs. There are proposals to the selection of textbooks alternatives.
For the creative literary volumes are lyrics, novels, short prose, drama. For this section is enough to send fragments of significant volumes proposed publication date and the approximate size of the estimated final volume.
The works selected will be published in the Lumen Publishing House, or in individual volumes or in collective volumes, depending on the size of the work and assess the market potential of the material submitted to publication.
Editura Lumen will co-finance the publication of volumes in a proportion ranging between 50-100% depending on the impact that publishing will appreciate that have volume, number and size of material selected for publication.
In this selection are encouraged to attend both the young authors in the country and abroad, including Moldova.
Also this call for proposals is open to all editorial young researchers from EU Member States, USA, Canada, etc..
It will accept materials for publication in languages: Romanian, English, French or Italian. The authors agree with one of previous editions of the Program for the Promotion of Young Researchers, or contest debut Literary Lumen will have priority in this selection.
Editorial Program I Special Public Editura Lumen is to open to any author, whether published or has not previously and is not conditioned on the age limit.
